Orientation and mobility training Canedom, our team conducted an orientation and mobility training with 6 blind trainees on March 18, 2024. We trained them in sighted guiding, using standard and adaptive white canes, recognizing cues and landmarks, and requesting assistance in order to achieve travel independence and compensate for reduced visual information.
Our organization, “Canedom” participated in and contributed to the competitions organized by Kyi Myin Tie School for the blind, as the memorable day of Myanmar’s independence.
